My wife Llane and I are Kiwis currently working as a wildlife photographer and nurse in Australia.

There are over 8,000 images on my website but I have many more to add. I am out in the field photographing most days so I am always adding fresh pictures. Currently there are photographs of 550 different species of birds on the Australian list and around 240 on the New Zealand list. Not all photographs were taken in Australia. Many of the birds Australia and New Zealand share such as penguins, petrels and shearwaters may have been taken in New Zealand waters. Conversely photographs of vagrants to New Zealand were probably photographed in Australia. Several vagrants to Australia I have photographed overseas, for example Yellow Bittern and Lesser Black-backed Gull. If the subspecies is important to you, have a look to see where the photograph was taken.
